In short
We collect only what we need to quote, book and run your trips, we never sell your details, and drivers get only what they need to do the job. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time by writing to info@israelminibus.com.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address.
- Trip details: dates, times, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight numbers, number of passengers, luggage and any notes you send us.
- Booking records: the quotes we send, your online acceptance (name, signature, date and time), and payment records such as amounts, dates and payment status.
- Reviews you choose to write, with the name you choose to show.
- Website usage: if analytics is switched on, Google Analytics records anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages visited and the clicks on our WhatsApp and phone buttons. We do not send your name, phone or form contents to analytics.
How we use it
We do not use your details for advertising and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
- To answer your enquiry and send you a quote.
- To plan, confirm and carry out your trips, including passing trip details to your driver.
- To take payments and send receipts.
- To send you messages about your booking, such as the driver's details before the trip, and after the trip a request for a review.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and accounting records.
Who sees your details
- Your driver: the pickup and drop-off addresses, times, flight number, group size, luggage, and the name and phone of the contact person for the trip. Drivers do not see your email, your signature or internal notes.
- Drivers we offer a job to before it is assigned: only the route at city level, times, group size and the driver's pay. Never your name, phone or exact addresses.
- Whop, our card payment provider, which processes card payments under its own privacy policy. We never receive your full card number.
- Service providers that run our website and database (hosting and cloud storage), only to provide that service to us.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
How we protect it
Booking data is stored in a secured database that cannot be read from the website itself. Quote, receipt and driver links use long random codes, and quote and driver pages are not listed in search engines. Access to the booking system is protected.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as Israeli tax and accounting law requires, and other details only as long as they are useful for your bookings. You can ask us to delete details we are not required to keep.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, and the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the UK, you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, and ask us to delete details we are not required to keep. Write to info@israelminibus.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Cookies
The website uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to work, and Google Analytics cookies when analytics is switched on. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
